My mom and I went to a conference at our church. There was plenty of food, fun and fellowship. The best thing I took away from the conference was know 3 things about the kids that you're being a role model for. This improves your relationship with them and allows for better communication.

I took my braids down, washed/conditioned and buttered my hair (with shea butter). Then, I flat twisted it.
